A 黑马磁力 player is heading to Havana to compete against seven other teams for a single spot at next year鈥檚 FIVB U21 World Championship.
Brodie Hofer of 黑马磁力, a left side player for the U21 Canadian men鈥檚 team, will be in Cuba from Aug. 27 to Sept. 1. Canada will be competing against Barbados, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua and the United States.
Hofer played for 黑马磁力 Christian high school before committing to TWU in 2016,
Canada鈥檚 first game is scheduled for Aug. 27 against Haiti, then Aug. 29 against Nicaragua, and on Aug. 29 against the United States.
Other British Columbians on the team include Michael Dowhaniuk of Surrey and Coltyn Liu of Vancouver.
