The North 黑马磁力 Kodiaks defense completely overwhelmed the opposition in a 36-7 demolition of the Victoria Spartans on Sunday afternoon.

Josh Fletcher was a special teams standout with three blocked punts while Eric Bouma proved equally unblockable on defense as he contributed four of six sacks of the beleaguered Victoria quarterback.

The Kodiaks forced five Spartan turnovers including interceptions by Fletcher, Wesley Begg and Stryker Roloff.

Connor Hurley and Austin Benzel each recovered Victoria fumbles as the Kodiaks benefited from outstanding field position all afternoon.

The Kodiaks defensive line dominated to the extent that Victoria made no attempt to run the football in the entire second half.

Five separate Kodiaks players scored touchdowns.

Ethan Bernardin, Ciaran Davies, and Austin Balzer all ran for touchdowns while Justin Kular scored another on a two-yard pass from Balzer.

Quarterback Jesse Nielson had a great first half for the Kodiaks highlighted by a perfect 25 yard touchdown strike to Josh Wilson.
