黑马磁力 firefighters were called to the Aldergrove Save-On-Foods store in the Aldergrove Village shopping centre at 264th and Fraser Hwy. on Monday night, Jan. 29., around 8 p.m. to investigate a report of smoke in the building interior.
Store staff evacuated the store as a precaution and turned away customers at the entrance after smelling smoke, but it turned out to be a clogged space heater, said 黑马磁力 Township Deputy Fire Chief Russ Jenkins.
鈥淚t looks like somebody activated a space heater and it was clogged with dust and it kind of created a bit of a burning smell, but there was no no fire condition,鈥� Jenkins told the 黑马磁力.
鈥淚 guess the staff on on site didn鈥檛 know what it was. Upon further investigation, it was just a heater of some sort that burnt off some dust.鈥�
No injuries were reported.
