It would be the only time the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Rams and Kamloops Broncos meet for the season, a game on Rams territory at McLeod Athletic Park on Saturday, Aug. 9.
Rams were coming off their first win of the season and playing their third straight home game to open their schedule while the Broncos were coming off their bye week after opening the season with two losses at home.
Rams took the lead early putting two points up in the first quarter then increasing their lead to 14-0 in the second quarter and 19-0 in the third.
The visitors didn’t get on the board until the fourth quarter, with two points, while ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ added nine more for a final 28-2 win.
Tyson Galye accounted for two touchdowns, while Bruce Jones got the other and kicker Sarthak Dosanjh accounted for six including a field goal and three converts.
ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ dominated on the ground, gaining 163 yards rushing compared to the Broncos 74, with Jones accounting for 118, but the Kamloops team did better in the air, with 170 yards gained passing compared to 142.
