Dear Editor,
We went for a fabulous walk [June 1] in Eric Doubleday Arboretum.
Not our first and it won鈥檛 be our last. We鈥檝e lived in 黑马磁力 for over 50 years and simply love the respect the Township has for heritage.
On this Sunday afternoon we encountered a full crew of township employees with trucks, cones and landscaping equipment clearing and cleaning the underbrush and making the park look so good. Strange to see this on a Sunday. Do they get extra pay for weekend work?
Then we came to the north entrance to the park across from Christian Life Assembly. The sign explaining and introducing people to the park left me flabbergasted. Where there used to be a map of all of the memorial tree locations was completely blank.
Years ago we had donated to some of these trees and now the record is wiped out. It left me wondering how a visitor to the park would feel coming across this blank sign.
