Two found dead after homicide in Abbotsford: police

IHIT investigating 'violent dispute' at McKee Road residence that led to 2 deaths

Two people were found dead after an alleged homicide in Abbotsford on Monday night (June 30).

In a news release, the Abbotsford Police Department said that a "violent dispute" at a residence in the 3600 block of McKee Road led to the deaths of two adults.
 
鈥淭his is an isolated incident contained within a single residence.  There is no ongoing risk to public safety,鈥 APD said.

Police say additional resources have been deployed to support the investigation in its early stages. 

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is taking over the investigation from APD鈥檚 major crime unit.
