Suspect charged after woman allegedly sexually assaulted on Vancouver bus

A suspect is being charged in Vancouver following a sexual assault incident on board a bus in the city. 

Rodrigo Algranti, 27, is being charged with one count of sexual assault after a woman was allegedly inappropriately touched by Algranti while on board a 99-B Line bus in Vancouver on June 9.

Algranti was released from custody following a "no-go" condition on any Coast Mountain Bus, according to a Aug. 21 news release from the Metro Vancouver Transit Police.

Algranti's next court date is scheduled for Aug. 25, 2025.
