One remains in hospital in 'life-threatening condition' after Surrey crash

Two-vehicle Canada Day collision on Scott Road and 97 Avenue still under investigation

Surrey police were called to a crash at 120 Street and 97 Avenue on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

One person is still in hospital in serious condition after a Canada Day crash in Surrey.

On Tuesday (July 1) Surrey Police, Fire and ambulance services were called to the area of 120 Street and 97 Avenue at about 4:10 p.m. for a two-vehicle, serious collision.

A total of three people were sent to hospital, including two with minor injuries and one in what police described as life-threatening condition who still remains there while the other two have been discharged, SPS updated Friday (July 4) morning.

Investigators were on scene of the crash to gather evidence into the late hours of the night after closing off the road to all traffic.

Police are now appealing for more information from the public with hopes of collecting dash cam or CCTV footage of the crash. Anyone willing to speak to police are asked to call 604-599-0502 and quote file 25-54337 or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-8477 or solvecrime.ca
