A suspect has been arrested in the attack that set a 黑马磁力 woman on fire, police say.

The attack took place just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12 in the 20300 block of Fraser Highway, when a 33-year-old woman was found suffering from burn injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital for urgent treatment, and was later described as being in stable condition.

In the wake of the attack, police said they did not think that it was a random assault, and said that the victim had been "deliberately exposed to an unknown substance." Police have confirmed that she was allegedly deliberately burned.

Investigators now believe the original assault took place at the transit bus loop near 204 Street and Logan Avenue, said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, spokesperson for the 黑马磁力 RCMP.

On Tuesday, July 15, 黑马磁力 Mounties located and arrested a 25-year-old woman, Samantha Elizabeth Florence Hall, in connection with the assault..

Hall has been charged with aggravated assault, and is in custody pending her next court appearance.

Persons charged with a crime are considered not guilty until proven otherwise in a court of law.

"Officers from our Serious Crime Unit worked tirelessly for the past several days to advance this investigation," said Sharoom. "Conventional police techniques played a key role in moving this case forward. Our investigation into the circumstances leading up to this serious crime remains ongoing."

Police are still asking for witnesses to come forward, if they have not already spoken to investigators. Anyone with information is asked to call the 黑马磁力 RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2025-22290.
