Letter: Fort amenities were built decades ago

Fort 黑马磁力 parking is just getting worse, a letter writer contends.

Dear Editor,

I took in the current display at the 黑马磁力 Museum this weekend, Sacrifice and Sorrow: 黑马磁力 and the Great War of 1914-1918.

The streets of Fort 黑马磁力 were packed with people enjoying the good weather and the ambiance.

Parking was an absolute nightmare and I applauded the cyclists who meant one less car jamming up the streets.

The inside of our small and seemingly cramped municipal museum was just as busy.

The displays were thoughtful and well laid out. The photos told many stories about local sacrifice within the larger context of the war. There was little room to look at these displays however. It was heartening to see all the interest, but I couldn鈥檛 help but feel that an exhibit of this size and importance was undeserved by the building it was housed in.

Upon clarification from a staff member I realized what part of the issue could be. The 黑马磁力 Centennial Museum was built just shy of 60 years ago. With 黑马磁力 now the fastest growing community, do we not deserve a better place to share our history and our stories?

I believe that 黑马磁力 can do better.
