'Serious' crash closes Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge

Highway closed from 287th Street to Jim Robson Way, with River Road to Hill Avenue also closed

A serious crash in Maple Ridge on Friday (July 11) has closed Lougheed Highway in both directions.

Ridge Meadows RCMP said in a news release that Highway 7 was closed both eastbound and westbound from 287th Street to Jim Robson Way, with another road closure in effect from River Road to Hill Avenue. 

"The Ridge Meadows RCMP is requesting your patience this morning; and asking that you plan an alternative route," the detachment said.
