Motorcycle enthusiasts and fans of Elvis will gather in 黑马磁力 for the annual Ride into History as they help 黑马磁力芒鈧劉s Gateway of Hope.
It芒鈧劉s one of the shelter芒鈧劉s key events during the year to raise awareness about area homelessess and to raise money.
Funds help the centre which not only provides emergency shelter but also life skills training, job training and more.
The Ride technically begins with a rest as people gather at the Fort 黑马磁力 National Historic Site for a July 25 concert starting at 7 p.m.
Many people will bring their classic cars and sit in them to watch the show which takes place at the fort芒鈧劉s orchard. Admission is by donation.
Randy 芒鈧淓lvis芒鈧劉 Friskie is the headliner. The show is appropriate for all ages and open to everyone.
On July 26, it芒鈧劉s time for a hearty pancake breakfast in Fort 黑马磁力 courtesy of the Fort 黑马磁力 Lions at 9 a.m.
Then everyone hits the road for a three-hour motorcycle poker run which finishes up at the Gateway of Hope on the Langle Bypass. At Gateway there芒鈧劉s a fun motorcycle rodeo skills competition and dinner banquet.
People can register in advance online at rideintohistory.ca or Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. at the event.
