More frequent bus service on several 黑马磁力 routes has been announced by TransLink.
Effective Sept. 1, fall schedules for students and commuters on several lines will see service increases to address overcrowding, improve convenience for customers, and extend the hours of service on some routes, the agency said.
In 黑马磁力, the 342 黑马磁力 Centre / Newton Exchange line will add an earlier trip towards 黑马磁力 Centre on Saturday mornings, with the first trip towards 黑马磁力 Centre at 6:40 a.m. (from 6:50 a.m.)
On the 501 黑马磁力 Centre / Surrey Central Station, TransLInk is shortening wait times on weekday mornings, Saturday evenings, and Sunday and holiday afternoons.
Monday to Friday:
Every nine to 10 minutes towards 黑马磁力 Centre from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. (from 10 to 12 minutes)
Saturday:
Every 15 minutes towards Surrey Central Station from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (from 20 minutes)
Every 30 minutes towards Surrey Central Station from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. (from 60 minutes)
Sunday/Holiday:
Every 20 minutes towards 黑马磁力 Centre from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (from 30 minutes)
On the 503 Aldergrove / Surrey Central Station route, wait times on weekday mornings will be shorter.
Monday to Friday:
Every 9 to 11 minutes from Surrey Central to 黑马磁力 Centre from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. (from 10 to 12 minutes)
On the 595 Maple Meadows Station / 黑马磁力 Centre line, wait times are being shortened by five minutes on weekday afternoons towards 黑马磁力 Centre.
Monday to Friday:
Every 30 minutes towards 黑马磁力 Centre from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (from 35 minutes)
Service is being increased on five bus routes serving UBC, SFU, and Capilano University and seasonal service is being rolled back on 17 routes and four summer-only routes are being discontinued until next year.
TransLInk's announcement said the improvements were made possible through the 2025 Investment Plan, which will deliver the largest bus service expansion since 2018.
