Expect to see lots of red and white at McLeod Athletic Park on Tuesday, July 1 as residents celebrate Canada Day.
The park at 5687 216 St. will be the centre of activities for 黑马磁力.
鈥淭he Township is excited to once again host a fun, family-friendly Canada Day celebration, with an expanded and improved drone show in the evening. I look forward to joining the community in this celebration,鈥� said Township Mayor Eric Woodward.
The Township has planned free family-friendly fun, including an evening drone light show.
The public can enjoy games and activities, food trucks, local breweries, local artisans, live entertainment, and more. Kids will have fun with bouncy castles, face painting, and arts and crafts.
Plus, the evening drone light show by Drone Light Show Canada returns at 10:15 p.m., illuminating the night sky with formations and designs. More drones have been added this year after last year's inaugural show.
Activities run from 2 to 10;30 p.m. with the official ceremonies at 3:10 p.m. Pets are welcome to attend Canada Day but must be leashed and people must clean up after their pets. And of course, with so many people attending, parking is an issue. People are encouraged to carpool or take public transit.
