Aldergrove-area kids and their families filled the school grounds of Shortreed Elementary on Friday, May 23, for the fun fair.
When they weren't on the carousel, sliding down the bouncy castle, or trying the games, the kids could feast on hotdogs, popcorn, cotton candy, chips, drinks, and more. Many luck winners at the cakewalk went home with baking while the very long line-up for the jar game extended across much of the school playground.
The school's parent advisory council organized the large event for the school community. The fun fair brought together many families on a cool spring evening.
