The Abbotsford International Airport was the talk of the dinner table at the Greater 黑马磁力 Chamber of Commerce鈥檚 dinner meeting on Tuesday night at the Cascades Casino Resort Ballroom hear
Parm Sidhu, the general manager of the Abbotsford International Airport, was one of two guest speakers and he offered the gathering a brief history of the airport and a short rundown of some of the aviation-related businesses that operate from the site.
The second speaker, Heidi Grigg, WestJet director of cargo and charter operations, talked about the corporate culture of the airline, including its profit-sharing program.
She also highlighted WestJet鈥檚 new non-stop service between Abbotsford and Las Vegas, which began on Oct. 29, and teased the company鈥檚 upcoming service between Canada and London (Gatwick) aboard the airline鈥檚 newly acquired wide-body aircraft.
