The Yorkson Creek Middle School Wolves battled to the very end in Grade 8 girls rugby action Tuesday afternoon, May 9.
The Wolves found their offensive legs after the break but couldn’t complete erase a big lead built by the Abbotsford Middle School Huskies.
The visiting Huskies came away with a 40-17 victory.
The Wolves host a playoff game next Tuesday, May 16 versus Abbotsford’s Eugene Reimer Middle School at Yorkson Creek.
