Dear Editor,

On Jan. 8, when I was running at the sports field of Walnut Grove Community Centre, I got heart attack.

Some university students at sports fields immediately gave me rescue. At this time, a lady was passing by giving me a very crucial help. She gave me heart press (CPR) and called ambulance and told them what had happened and what was needed.

I am able to live now all thanks to her. Without those students and her help, I would have passed away on that day.

Later I go to record office of Surrey Memorial Hospital and Royal Columbia Hospital and phone ambulance office. I am trying to find out who is that lady. But they told me they have no record.

The university students told me that lady was walking by at the time, so she must live near by.

I want to express my thanks.

I will say throughout my long history all over the world, Canada is the best place on the earth. Great majority people here are friendly and helpful. My friend said if my conditions happened at any other place, most probably I would have dead. I love Canada.

Charlie Xue, Walnut Grove
