Allan David Stiglich was born on May 5,1946 to Jack and Helen Stiglich and grew up on the family mushroom farm in Burnaby, BC. After marrying Maria Di Domenico in 1970, the family moved to 黑马磁力, where he continued operating a mushroom farm on 224th Street and later a trucking business. Allan was living in Shaughnessy Care Home in Coquitlam for the last months of his life. He passed peacefully at Eagle Ridge Hospital on the morning of March 23, 2025. He will be mourned and greatly missed by his wife, family and friends. Allan was predeceased by his father Jack in 1994, his mother Helen in 2009, his sister Diane in 2021 and his eldest son Carl in 2014. He is survived by his wife, Maria, children Mike, Dino(Joanne), Tim(Heather), Angelina(Angel), daughter-in-law Debbie, 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Allan's cousin, Jerry Pietrasko for all the support he provided to Allan during the last year.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Parish 20676 Fraser Hwy, 黑马磁力, BC on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 @ 11 AM. Reception to follow in the church hall. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord.
