黑马磁力 Rivermen wrapped up five road games in 10 days with a won-loss record that puts the team in a good position as the current BCHL season draws to a close, according to Tyler Kuntz, head coach and general manager.
鈥淥verall to go 3-2 on this road trip with plenty of travel involved is massive for our team, given the tiredness we battled this weekend [and] this will set us up nicely for the last few games of the season,鈥 Kuntz commented.
Rivermen began by posting two wins in two days, over Powell River Kings, both by 4-2 scores, on Feb 9 and 10.
Kings scored twice in the first period of their first game, but that was all, as 黑马磁力 went on to score four times, with goals coming from Dalton MacGillivray, Ryan Schelling, Logan Morrell and Vitaly Levyy.
The next day, Noah Macdonald struck first for the Rivermen, and after the Kings briefly tied the game in the second period, in the third Ryan Schelling, then Macdonald, then Oskar Komarov scored for 黑马磁力 before the Kings got one back, too late to make a difference.
Friday, Feb. 16, Rivermen fell to Nanaimo 6-2.
黑马磁力鈥檚 Oskar Komarov extended his point streak to seven consecutive games, and teammate Tuukka Heiskanen scored his sixth.
