Despite falling to Calgary in its first defeat of the season, Vancouver Bandits is now gearing up for a return to the winning column when the team takes on the Ottawa Blackjacks tonight at LEC.
The Calgary Surge ended the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦-based Bandits’ undefeated start and jumped to the top of the CEBL standings on Sunday, June 1, when they downed Vancouver 95-80. But before that, the Bandits had enjoyed a historic winning streak – five wins in the first five games of the season is a franchise record.
Vancouver Bandits are looking to regain that winning form tonight (Friday, June 6), said head coach and general manager Kyle Julius.
Ottawa (2-2) is currently ranked fourth out of five in the eastern conference league, while Vancouver (5-1) is now second only to Calgary in the western division.
The home game gets underway at 7 p.m. tonight, then the Bandits suit up again Sunday afternoon, when they take on the Saskatchewan Rattlers at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.
Ticket information for the home game at ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Events Centre Friday is available by .
