A white car crashed on Fraser Highway on Wednesday, May 21.

Alcohol may have been a factor in a crash that flipped a car on its side in the median of Fraser Highway in Aldergrove on the morning of Wednesday, May 21.

The crash happened at around 9 a.m., and it appears only a single white Kia was involved. According to a witness, it sounded like the vehicle hit the median before turning over.

Firefighters and other emergency responders were on scene.

The car was occupied by an older male driver, according to deputy Township fire chief Russ Jenkins.

Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ RCMP said the driver was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, and alcohol was suspected as a possible factor in the crash.
