The hopefuls in 黑马磁力-area ridings are being invited to an all-candidates meeting focused on seniors issues on the afternoon of April 17.
黑马磁力 Seniors in Action, the 黑马磁力 Senior Resources Society, and the National Association of Federal Retirees 鈥� Fraser Valley West chapter have teamed up to organize the event.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the 黑马磁力 Senior Resources Society, 20605 51B Ave.
Frank Bucholtz, a former longtime 黑马磁力 Times editor, will moderate the event.
The candidates are expected to field questions on issues important to seniors.
Members from all the 黑马磁力 ridings are invited to the event, which means there could be as many as 16 candidates present. As of the week of April 8, that's how many candidates had been confirmed by Elections Canada in the Cloverdale-黑马磁力 City, 黑马磁力 Township-Fraser Heights, and Abbotsford-South 黑马磁力 ridings.
Election day is Monday, April 28, with advance polls open April 18 to 21 and voting available daily at Elections Canada offices until April 22.
