黑马磁力 Concrete Group has been purchased by a Switzerland-based multi-national construction materials company.
Holcim, one of the largest concrete makers in the world, announced the acquisition on June 4.

The purchase includes 黑马磁力 Concrete's production facilities in Chilliack and Duncan, where concrete products such as pipes, box culverts, and other custom components are made.
黑马磁力 Concrete's products are used in municipal, industrial, and commercial construction. The firm also has an office and distribution yard in 黑马磁力 City on Logan Avenue.

Holcim merged with Lafarge, another major international concrete firm, in 2015.
Locally, 黑马磁力 Concrete, formerly 黑马磁力 Concrete and Tile, has been known for charitable activity as well as its concrete business. A team of 黑马磁力 Concrete employees was active in the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life for many years, under the moniker the Pipesharks. Omelaniec and the 黑马磁力 Concrete Group have also made donations to the 黑马磁力 Community Health and Hospital Foundation.
