Sandeep Khaira, community librarian and supervisor, said it was great to see kids come and learn about the butterfly鈥檚 life cycle.

鈥淲hoever came to the library would look at the butterflies and watch their circle of life, it was very popular,鈥 she said.

Caring for the butterflies was a team effort of nursing them as caterpillars before they turned into cocoons. Less than a week later, the cocoons 鈥渉atched鈥 and butterflies appeared.

The butterfly release is for all ages, drop in attendance, and occurs annually at the library.
