Two separate Saturday morning events 鈥� Bunnies and Baskets at the 黑马磁力 Centennial Museum and Easter Extravaganza at West 黑马磁力 Hall 鈥� signaled the start of Easter weekend festivities in 黑马磁力.
The fun continued Sunday at the Fort 黑马磁力 National Historic Site, which hosted a free, all-ages Easter Scavenger Hunt.
The hunt was contained within the walls of the Fort.
Kids aged five and under participated in an 鈥渆gg scramble鈥� with a goal of finding as many eggs as they could on a giant map of B.C.
Admission was free due to Canada celebrating its 150th anniversary.
Also happening Sunday was Township 7 Vineyards and Winery鈥檚 11th annual Easter Festival.
For the kids, there was a petting zoo, face painting fairies, live children鈥檚 entertainment, and an egg hunt in the vines with an individual bag of treats for each child.
For the parents, there was live music and refreshing spring wine releases. As well, ther was an onsite food truck with delicious goodies.
