ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ welcomes B.C.’s top boys basketball teams this week

After hosting the girls B.C. championships last week, ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ the site of the boys tournaments.

The girls started the excitement with the 2018 high school basketball championships in ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ last week and this week it’s the boys turn to find out which are the best teams in B.C.

The 2018 B.C. Boys High School Basketball Championships are March 7 to 10 at the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Events Centre.

Walnut Grove Secondary takes on St. George’s School on opening day at 1:45 p.m. in the 4A category.

In 3A action, Clayton Heights goes up against Sir Charles Tupper at 5:15 p.m. on March 7.

ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Christian has a 10:15 a.m. game against Britannia Secondary in the 2A tournament on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, the 1A tournament starts. Credo Christian School takes on Gold River at 6:45 p.m.

The games run Wednesday to Sunday and are open to the public with tickets available at the box office.
