Eight Fort 黑马磁力-based dragon boat teams, including one composed of breast cancer survivors, will compete in this weekend鈥檚 inaugural Inlet Spring Regatta in Port Moody.
Abreast with FORT-itude, the breast cancer survivors, will be joined by D-Fyance, Fast & Furious, Fortified, SOAR 鈥� Spirit of a Renegade, Sundragons, Chicks Ahoy! and Titanium in the competition at Rocky Point Park on April 22.
The regatta features 200 metre springs, with each race taking about one minute to complete.
Abreast in a Boat has five competitive crews and one non-competitive crew in the Lower Mainland. The team鈥檚 mission is to raise awareness about breast cancer and to demonstrate that those with the diagnosis can lead full and active lives. More information can be found at .
