This Monday, Canadian crooner Matt Dusk brings his 鈥淏ack from Las Vegas鈥� tour to the Summit Theatre inside Cascades Casino for an evening of classic big band tunes 鈥� music synonymous with the city of Las Vegas.
Inspired by the legends of Vegas, Dusk will perform old favourites and contemporary big band hits such as Get Me To The Church On Time, Who鈥檚 Got The Action, and Mack The Knife, along with his original song Back In Town.
For his 黑马磁力 performance, Dusk will be joined by guest artist and hometown boy Gino Gerussi.
Hot off the heels of his international tour Matt Dusk is set to release his new album Live From Las Vegas, recorded last summer at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. It will be available nationally in stores and online on May 10. PBS is currently airing the Las Vegas special in the US.
鈥淭his is something I鈥檝e always wanted to do 鈥� record a live concert,鈥� said Dusk.
鈥淏ack in the old days, when music was king, there was no auto tuning or editing, you had to be as good as ever. Especially with live recordings, you have one shot at getting this right.鈥�
