A new eight-stage film studio is being launched in the Walnut Grove neighbourhood of ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦.
Martini Film Studios, headed up by ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ actress (both stage and screen), director, and CEO Gemma Martini, will unveil the150,000-square-foot film lot early next week at the site in the 19700 block of 96th Avenue.
Martini, 41, will be accompanied by Deputy Premier and Fort ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦-Aldergrove MLA Rich Coleman, as well as Community,Sports, and Cultural Development Minister and MLA Peter Fassbender, and Creative BC CEO Prem Grill.
Tied in with a lighting and film industry supply company, MBS Equipment, this new film studio will help support µþ.°ä.’sbooming film industry and create new local jobs, Martini said.
She describes it as the newest film and television production studio with state-of-the-art production facilities and full backlot support services.
The unveiling of the new studio will happen next Tuesday morning.
