Last week’s photo (inset) was of James and Laura Shortreed in 1947. We featured a photo of Laura Shortreed, née Perry, the previous week, when she was a young woman in the 1800s.

Contest rules:

Preference is given to ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ residents. Entrants must be 19 or older. The winner will be selected by a random draw ofallentries. The contest is not open to employees of the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Advance nor Black Press.

Winner will be notified by email and must pick up the prize as offered at the ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ Advance office, 6375 202nd Street.
