One of the sure signs of spring in Fort ºÚÂí´ÅÁ¦ is the outrigger canoe club preparing for its annual time trials. As paddlers gear up for the season, they turn to a few time-honoured tricks to gain an edge, said photographer Lou Fasullo. According to Dave (above) one simple way to make the canoe glide faster in the water is by applying a coat of Turtle Wax to reduce friction on the hull.
