Ideal weather conditions, sunny and warm, produced a good turnout for the annual 黑马磁力 Walk on Sunday afternoon.
According to the official estimate, close to 900 people took part in the annual walk, with some starting before the official 1:30 p.m. time and others who came late.
The 黑马磁力 Walk was established by Pete Swensson, the Township of 黑马磁力鈥檚 first Recreation Director, to encourage residents to be more physically active, and has been held in various neighbourhoods throughout 黑马磁力 Township and City since 1963.
This time, the place for the free event was the at 7888 200 Street, where people were able to walk, run, or bike the 5 km and 10 km routes, then enjoy a free snack, more activities, and entertainment that included activities like balloon twisting, a bouncy castle and face painting.

Most walkers from a secondary school 鈥� Walnut Grove
Most walkers from an organization 鈥� 黑马磁力 Immanuel Christian Reformed Church
