A block party fundraiser is planned for Saturday, June 21, in Fort 黑马磁力, and the money raised will help feed hungry children.
The Starfish Backpack Program will benefit from the Bedford Landing Block Party.
It runs from 2 to 5 p.m. in Muench Park in Bedford Landing. People are advised to bring a chair or blanket to sit on to enjoy the gathering at 23101 Muench Tr., Fort 黑马磁力.
The 黑马磁力 Lions will be there grilling up food and there will be activities for kids.
Organizers Andy Schildhorn and Kylene Shannon said this first ever block party is a way to meet neighbours and marks the end of the school year.
