The BC Cancer Agency, in partnership with UBC, has rolled out the most advanced PET/CT scanner in the country, capable of doing full body imaging.

The BC Cancer Agency will have information displays set up around 黑马磁力 in early July, including at two public library branches.

The agency oversees cancer care in this province and is offering an informative presentation on cancer prevention and screening education. People can learn about the province's screening services, and eligibility requirements. As well, they will have the opportunity to get questions answered.

At the end of the program, BC Cancer will assist eligible people in booking their own screening appointments.

The prevention and screening presentation will be held at the Aldergrove Library, 26670 29 Ave., between 12:30 and 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 3.

The agency will then be at the 黑马磁力 Community Services Society Welcome Centre at 6470 201 St., between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 11.

The third 黑马磁力 event is at the Muriel Arnason Library, 20338 65 Ave., also on July 11 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

There is no need to register in advance to attend one of the free sessions. Some additional information is available at fvrl.me/events.

These sessions are part of BC Cancer鈥檚 mission to reduce the impact of cancer through evidence-based education, prevention, and screening initiatives by engaging diverse populations. By working with partners like public libraries, BC Cancer helps make health information more accessible for everyone across the province.
