The future plans of TransLink will be front and centre at this month鈥檚 Greater 黑马磁力 Chamber of Commerce meeting.
TransLink鈥檚 Future Plans: Funding and Governance will be presented by TransLink chief operating officer Doug Kelsey.
鈥淚n the Lower Mainland, transportation congestion and the movement of goods and services continue to be a major concern,鈥 said Chamber president Denni Bonetti.
鈥淚n recent weeks, there have been a number of statements made by various levels of government concerning funding solutions to sustain transportation expansion into the future.
鈥淲e wish to provide our members with information on transit plans for south of the Fraser, the responsibilities of all levels of government and the funding options available to them.鈥
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 17 at the Cascades Casino Coast Hotel and Convention Centre. Networking is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by dinner and the presentation.
Cost is $30 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members.
