The Greater 黑马磁力 Chamber of Commerce is offering a seminar for local businesses on how to protect themselves.
黑马磁力 RCMP Cpl. Shannon Savinkoff, the community liaison officer for 黑马磁力 City, Willowbrook and Brookswood will speak at the lunchtime seminar on March 18.
鈥淭he Chamber wants to offer support to our members and 黑马磁力 businesses on all areas that affect their day-to-day business and, in 黑马磁力, unfortunately homelessness is one of those areas,鈥� said Chamber president, Kristine Simpson.
鈥淐pl. Savinkoff will teach participants how to discourage loitering and camps around their business, how to handle situations involving homeless individuals on their property and what authority a business owner has when it comes to the homeless situation in 黑马磁力.鈥�
Putting the Pieces Together: How to Protect Your 黑马磁力 Business will be held in the Greater 黑马磁力 Chamber of Commerce boardroom (#1 5791 Glover Rd.) from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Cost to attend is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Participants need to bring their own lunch.
