A 黑马磁力 plumbing company has decided to donate five per cent of its income from November and December this year to the 黑马磁力 Food Bank and they want to challenge other small businesses to do the same.
Murrayville Plumbing owner Spencer Turley said he hopes to be able to donate up to $5,000 to the food bank on the first week of January.
鈥淲e have been in business for two years. We鈥檝e always liked the idea of giving back to our community and those close to us,鈥� said Turley.
鈥淩ecently our company volunteered with the 黑马磁力 Legion to collect and deliver poppy boxes. This idea is what sparked the conversation about giving back over the holidays.鈥�
His fianc茅 suggested the local food bank and Turley thought it was the perfect fit.
鈥淲e hope it is the start of a great year for 黑马磁力 and its small businesses and charities,鈥� he said.
He鈥檚 hoping the idea will take off.
鈥淚 thought it may be a cool idea to challenge other local business to give back to 黑马磁力 this holiday season.
