Wednesday, Aug. 22, was a big night for 黑马磁力-based company Fastik and for its president, Brad Malchuk.

That evening, B.C. Senator Yonah Martin, deputy leader of the Official Opposition in the Senate, was in attendance at Fastik in 黑马磁力, to help celebrate the company鈥檚 achievement of having surpassed $10 million in annual sales.

According to Fastik鈥檚 website, the business aims to simplify and enhance market communications with high quality printing and packaging.

Beyond providing printing and packaging services throughout North America, the company is 鈥渢rying to do as much as we can to make the world a better place,鈥 the website states.

A belief that 鈥渟ocial responsibility is good business鈥 is reflected in its practices. These include 鈥渢reading lightly on the earth,鈥 creating and promoting products that lower the environmental impact of their customers and supporting charitable work at home and abroad by giving a minimum 10 per cent of net profits to charitable organizations in Canada and overseas.

Among the organizations supported by Fastik is Opportunity International, a company that helps families in need generate monthly income, both right away and for years to come.

At Wednesday evening鈥檚 ceremony, Malchuk鈥檚 charitable efforts were acknowledged along with the achievement of his business.

鈥淏rad Malchuk was recognized tonight for the success of Fastik, a business that he has grown from the ground up,鈥 wrote Doris Olafsen of Opportunity International.

鈥淗e was also celebrated for his personal and corporate philanthropy and partnership over the past few years with both Opportunity International Canada and the Wellspring Foundation.

鈥淐anadian Senator Yonah Martin paid tribute to his business and philanthropic accomplishments and also pinned him with the Special Service Award for his service in the Canadian Army and his work with Korean veterans.鈥
