As the community grows and new homes are built, the Township of 黑马磁力 is focused on raising awareness of the methods and benefits of energy efficient homebuilding.
On Wednesday, Feb. 3, two interactive, facilitated workshops will be held to share and generate ideas on how to make energy efficient homebuilding a priority.
鈥淏uilding homes that are energy efficient reduces energy consumption costs, adds value to homes, and promotes a healthy environment,鈥� said Josh Power, Township of 黑马磁力 Energy Programs Specialist.
鈥淚t鈥檚 good for the environment and good for residents.鈥�
The events will take place at the 黑马磁力 Events Centre, 7888 200 St., in meeting room B.
Session 1, which will be open to home builders, developers and renovators, will run from 2 to 4 p.m., and Session 2, for realtors and home buyers, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.
鈥淲e would really like the public鈥檚 input during these dynamic, two-hour workshops,鈥� Power said. 鈥淲e encourage residents to join us, share their ideas, and make the workshops a success.鈥�
