After raising $10,000 for a 黑马磁力 family two years ago, a retired RCMP officer is at it once again.
John Gould, a retired RCMP officer, is once again offering the services of his company, Dominion Power Washing to help raise money for the family of 黑马磁力鈥檚 Erin Kreiter.
Kreiter鈥檚 father Tim is also a retired 黑马磁力 RCMP officer.
Back in 2013, Erin Kreiter was diagnosed with Myasthenia gravis, which left her a quadriplegic confined to a wheelchair, unable to breathe unassisted and requiring 24-hour care.
Before she got sick, Kreiter had worked at the University of Alberta doing cancer research.
Her parents renovated the family鈥檚 黑马磁力 home to make it wheelchair accessible and Gould is hoping to once again raise funds for the family.
His company will donate their trucks, equipment and fuel, with both his employees and off-duty RCMP officers volunteering their time to do the cleaning.
Between now and the middle of May, any 黑马磁力 resident 鈥� and only 黑马磁力 residents 鈥� can sign up for the $250 cleaning. For this price, they will clean the driveway, patio and sidewalk.
Gould received a bone marrow transplant from a 20-year-old donor in Germany and this is his way of paying it forward.
All of the money raised will go to a trust fund set up for Kreiter and there is also a Paypal account.
