Staff at the Aldergrove Financial Group has raised more than $18,000 for B.C. Children鈥檚 Hospital.
鈥淥ur staff truly put their hearts into this fundraising initiative to provide funds for the children and the families that are in need of care and support through the B.C. Children鈥檚 Hospital,鈥� said Aldergrove Credit Union CEO Gus K. Hartl.
The money was raised through a variety of ways, including a raffle for a signed Kevin Bieksa jersey, bake sales, book sales and gift basket raffles, 50/50 draws, a penny drive where Aldergrove Credit Union matched every donated penny, staff jean days, and a staff team in the B.C. Children鈥檚 Hospital slo-pitch tournament.
鈥淭rue to our co-operative spirit ... our staff members and clients have come together for this very worthwhile cause,鈥� Hartl said.
